On an unrelated note, did anyone see the animated oreo ad? I just love the animation. and boy does that song ever get in your head! Nice one oreo :)
New Retold! Man, these crack me up :)
See Star Wars: Retold as well.
Our latest short is now here, so please enjoy How Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Should Have Ended. This was a real joy to work on. Otis Frampton made some really fantastic art, and Brock Baker's voice work made the whole thing just fun to build. Please give them your support checking out their sites. As always I hope you enjoy the short!
We are in the process of a few things, the one I will announce is Oblivion HISHE. So go see that movie if you haven't yet. Because our short is gonna spoil it rotten. And also because the movie is pretty cool, you should see it anyway. Okay that's all for now!
Later friends.
So are we excited about this movie? I mean Men in Black: Afterlife Victims Unit? (in 3d) In some ways I feel this looks so over the top silly and therefore we should just enjoy it for what it is. There are parts in that trailer that made me giggle, but then, then the other side in me says "Dude! Come on!" I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I hope this is just a cheesy trailer because I like to think Bridges and Reynolds know better than this. But we will see.
If you are reading this, it means you are one of the loyal who keep coming back to the site, which makes you awesome and I sincerely thank you for that. And since you are here, I'll just get to it. You've probably noticed we haven't been posting videos weekly like we did in the past. Why did you stop? Where'd you go? Did you guys die? It's been like years! First of all, geez calm down it's been 3-4 weeks, not years. And second, thank you for being so concerned. HISHE did slow down. For lots of reasons. I don't want to go into all the details, but this was a necessary pause. One reason, we completed our 3rd official season with Starz Digital Media (congratz to us :) and once it was completed we took a break.
What you don't know, is last years production schedule nearly destroyed me. I'm extremely proud of us for pulling it off, and I love the shorts we got to complete, but with the scale of our team and with the constant turn around of animations, and with the years I spent in the same room shelling out videos... lets just say, we needed to slow down. So we did, and I feel so much better now. Don't get it twisted though, It's not like I have all the free time in the world now, I'm still working but It's been much more pleasant for sure. Sometimes the one week mentality catches up to me though. I find I have too many ideas I get frustrated that I can't make them fast enough. But if I've learned anything through this wild ride, it's that it's better to relax, stay focused, and just appreciate everything around you. The vids will happen, just let them happen. (meanwhile my brains like, "Then we'll make this, and this, then this and oh man hurry up! go go go!")
So what does that mean for the future? Well, I hope good things. We have a future season in the works, so it's far from over. And I feel like our shorts are better now than they ever have been. Art and Animation-wise anyway, I can't speak for my joke abilities :) But I hope we can continue to grow/improve. My goal is to keep bringing fun videos to the fans, but I don't want to be repetitive. Weather it's a HISHE or some random skit, I want it to be unique and enjoyable. More variety. In a perfect world we could start bringing in more writers, more artists, more animators! But like I said, you gotta take it one step at a time and let it grow naturally. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming... did you hear about the Finding Dory movie? Sorry, that's off topic...
So thank you for supporting us, dedicated person who is still reading this. I'm sorry if you have felt like you've been waiting a lifetime for new content. Just know we never left, we only got reorganized. Better content will come because of it and I'm very much looking forward to it. Official New Shorts on the horizon? LAST CRUSADE, INCREDIBLES, PAPERMAN... and you know we are watching every movie lined up for the summer. Way too many big action movies to pass up. Looks to be like a fun list so far. I will attempt to keep you informed. But feel free to offer any requests. We love to know what you're looking forward to. Thanks for reading!
Later Friends!

The animation and the truth in Shane Koyczan's words are so powerful.
