Welcome to Super Cafe, the place you're already familiar with, but now with more possibilities. :) This series is considered "bonus material" for now, so look for episodes here and there. Our goal is to keep the cafe loved, so we will not run it into the ground every week until we run out of jokes. Trust me, you will appreciate that. So, look for Super Cafe episodes spaced out in between major HISHE shorts. And speaking of HISHE shorts. We are working on Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows HISHE. Hope you've seen the movie already! If not, you've got a weekend assignment, so get to it!

It was an absolute joy to work on, but also one of the most challenging. Contest entry, Birthin babies, Fighting off Colds, Animating a short twice as long as normal... It's basically been a madhouse. BUT ALL WORTH IT, if you asked me.

Zombie Countdown
Submitted by Daniel on Tue, 01/03/2012 - 12:19Well It error-ed out yesterday, and the offices were all closed, so zombies got delayed a day, BUT it's here now. Please enjoy, ISSUE - 30. As promised, I intend to complete this series THIS YEAR. I feel like that's a fair sized window don't you? Not that I intend to drag it out that entire length. No no. this aint no walking dead series. I actually have an end destination here. (at least I have an endgame mapped out) That's not a dis towards walking dead, I was just never trying to create an ongoing apocalyptic story about zombies. It was meant to be more of an isolated adventure, like the Halloween Simpsons episodes.
Either way, it's been way to long of a wait, things have been way too busy, bla bla bla, I just want to complete the story for you guys/gals. If it turns out lame, oh well... most free comics are right? I'm enjoying it at least :)
Ok, so Happy New Year Everybody. Hope your 2012 is fantastic and full of great stuff and junk. If you need me I'll be drawing mountains of Jedi art...and zombie art. -later friends

Vacation Rules With Friends Like These
Submitted by Daniel on Tue, 12/20/2011 - 10:47I just got back from one of my most favorite trips to date. Took a much needed vacation and went to San Fransisco for a few days. Got to meet tons of people, got to crash two Christmas parties, got to see the sites, got to eat some good food, and I even got to see the inside of PIXAR. That's right, sucka'z, I was there. I was there, and it was awesome. A much needed vacation, and a wonderful climax to my 2011 if you asked me. Now I can enjoy Christmas with the family and relax.
I imagine most will be curious what Pixar was like, so i'll give a quick rundown. The pixar I saw was very calm. Given who they are, you would expect to just see all kinds of silly things taking place when you step in. Animators pantomiming some crazy animation move they are working on, someone running by with artwork to be approved, someone else flying a toy helicopter, a celebrity walking towards their recording session, someone launching themselves out of a cannon... no it was very calm. HOWEVER, I was not allowed in many places, which is where I expect most of that "crazy" atmosphere takes place. Several areas were top secret and in most other places photos where not permitted, so I wouldn't dare push my luck. The campus is amazing. Beautiful Pixar related artwork everywhere, with even more easter egg type things hidden in the floor and walls. Like a museum at times, it was inspiring enough to just see the work they were showcasing throughout the halls. It is truly a place filled with "the best of the best". From the People, to facilities, to equipment, they have it all. And rightfully so. I felt incredibly lucky to get to walk in same building of so many people I've admired, yet never known personally. It was fantastic, and I had to buy a new jedi hoodie on the way out.
So the trip is over, it was an awesome getaway, and I feel like I walked 500 miles. (and I would walk 500 more, just to bee tha man who... sorry) It was a great time :) Now I must go get Christmas gifts for my family,on account I have yet to do that, and because I didn't buy them Nuthin in California! HISHE on Xbox Live
Submitted by Daniel on Wed, 12/14/2011 - 19:22If you're an Xbox Live user like me, you will be happy to know they have released their YouTube app. But Even MORE importantly, HISHE is listed under their animation category. So go check it out if you'd like to experience HISHE in your full screen TV xbox environment. I especially love it (obviously it's a huge deal to be a highlighted channel) but I especially love that it works with playlists. You can just pick one of our playlists and just sit back and let it ride. It's awesome!
I'm typing this up while Harry Potter HISHE is playing on my TV in front of me... on Xbox :) I can't get over it. It's surreal. Anyway, I hope people enjoy it.
That's all the news I got. Tina (and John) have a new baby boy now. They are doing great. I'm gonna be somewhere very exciting on Friday... it's kind of a secret (maybe, I don't know if it is, but I'm making it secret) Anyway, you guys are gonna be super jealous. :) hee hee

Cameos, Jedi, and Vacation

Do you know enough answers to qualify for a HISHE appearance? Really, you should, the answers aren't rocket science... and it's not like you can't just look around to verify any answer. :) Hopefully we will have a good turn out.
So what's next around here? Well obviously Return of the Jedi, but before that happens, we are taking a break! Why? several reasons. It's almost Christmas, so most people are shutting down anyways for holiday breaks. But more directly, Tina is about to have another baby like any second now so she needs time off. And for me, I just haven't had a real vacation in who knows how long. So we need to slow down before we crank it up again.
We will continue to release some extra vids throughout December so you may not even miss us. But this is a necessary break... (soooo tired) Can you believe we made around 27 videos this year!? HOLY Goodness that's a lot of cartooning! So, yeah, we need a breather. Ok, well, I'm off to finalize Bioshock, which looks AWESOME btw, I'll be back later. Good luck if you enter the contest!
