I can't wait to hear who it will be. My money's on Paterson Joseph, but maybe that's just because I'm such a fan of his work on Survivors and Peep Show. Best of luck to whomever it is -- David Tennant will be a very tough act to follow.

I have no idea who will be the next doctor but no one can beat david tennant it's going to be sad watching him go. some of the choices on who would be the next doctor are just silly catherine zeta jones..really!

Yeah, Jamesbloke, that was my reaction, too.

Then again, I didn't know much about Tennant before he came on, and we all know what a tremendous job he did. So, I'm willing to give this Matt Smith fellow a chance. Besides, I'm convinced "Smith" is just a clever pseudonym. ;)

I was hoping the Paterson Joseph rumors were true myself (even though he's already been in an ep).
