Only the good die young... and people who do drugs. Don't do drugs, but do remember Corey for his films.

I was definitely a fan of both Corey's when I was younger.  I can never remember which is which and when I saw your post I googled it (as the drug reference really didn't narrow it down).  Would you believe that every picture that came up was of Feldman and Haim together?!  Anyway, I figured it out and either way, his death is very sad, especially because it was unnecessary.  Such sweet, funny movies.

Yes, very sad.        I enjoyed a number of his films. I posted today about him and his movie Lucas, in the Forgotten and Lesser Known section.

Sorry, mate. I didn't see your post until after I posted this..... The Lobby is where it is at!Didn't both Coreys have addiction problems? Transcending the Arse of Reason in time for last orders

That's okay - that thread was more focused on the movie, anyway. The Lobby is definitely where it's at. Yep, both had drug problems, and had ups and downs at different times. I saw a couple of recent photos of Haim - he doesn't look like himself. Again, very sad. This story, particularly on the heels of the deaths of Andrew Koenig (son of Walter Koenig (the original Chekov of Star Trek) who was found dead in Vancouver, during the Olympics) and Michael Bryan (Marie Osmond's son), really conveys that fame is definitely not all it's cracked up to be. It's not as if we aren't all aware of that truth on some level, but these deaths are a good wake up call in a society obsessed with fame (see Fame Junkies, Jake Halpern for an interesting read).Ok, </soapbox>.   ;)
