Hunger games is an interesting story to tackle with a HISHE. There are many things to consider since the the entire series is basically heading to the END of the hunger games, and all that requires. So developing a script that was more substance than, "She shoots all of the tributes with an arrow, then Peeta with an arrow, the end" we spent a lot of time talking hunger games to decide where is the "flaw". Obviously several characters could have died way earlier if anyone with a brain was paying attention, but even if you do that the Capitol still exists and that seemed to be where our angle kept leaning. What about the Capitol? Ultimately, the capitol holds all the cards. So why would they care if anyone ate the berries? Do they really lose anything for their players opting out at the very end of the game? Would it really ruin the "tradition?" I doubt it. They've been doing this for 74 years... it's like a drop in the bucket. So taken the context that the Capitol could care less, and Katniss was never gonna eat the berries, you have our HISHE.

Credits are the usual, but I'd like to give special thanks to everyone who supplied a voice, or a kid scream, on this one. We had some chaotic times with this one during production (A lot of late nights were had to finish it) and to see it come into existence is a serious relief, but I'm also really pleased with the final product. So thanks go to Tina Alexander, Stephanie Fisher (Katniss), Mark Fisher, and Mary Gay for being amazing wonderful friends.

And yeah... seriously Katniss would totally not commit suicide for that dude - she had her sister, and her BFF / BF to return to.

No way man! The movie was incredibly faithful to the book, and in it's own right is a fantastic FILM. However, make sure that you don't compare it to the book throughout the whole movie as I did, because it ruins it. I watched the movie going, "this didn't happen" "where's so-and-so" "why is that now" so don't do that. Other than that, SEE THE HUNGER GAMES NOW!

All in all, I think this was incredible short, and had a lot of great jokes (Skyrim and District 9 references were hilarious). However, I was just thinking it would be even funnier/nerdier if you had made it so that after the announcer said "... the previous rule change is revoked, there can only be one" the bald dude from Highlander had jumped out and killed them both. But whatever, I still think it's great just the way it is. Keep up the awesome work!

I don't think that they should have killed Peeta in the short since he's kind of my favorite character and a really good guy. But aside from that this is awesome!

This is probably one of my favorite uploads on the site!  I love the D9 reference along with Edward getting hit with an arrow during the blood bath.  Plus, Peeta & Katniss on fire at the start was hilarious!
Favorite part, hands down was Peeta falling off the box at the end.  Everytime I see Josh Hutcherson all I can think about is how short he is so having him on the box was great!
And Katniss puking at being in love with Peeta was pretty funny as well.
