AVPR is a pizza krapp.
It's not the creatures because they went back to the orignal Pred for this one. It's not the Predalien, because he's subtle enough to work. It's not the Alien/Predator fight scenes because they were a huge improvement over AVP.
The acting is horrible. It reminded me of the worst fan films I've ever seen. I'm talking Star Wars Clash of Faith bad (but at least with the Clash of Faith people you know that they can't deliver lines because English is their second language).
The story is a mess too. The inovations are sick in the bad way (pregnant women make more aliens than anyone else). The subplot unnecessarily clutters a simple concept - monsters fighting. The Halloween 6 like ending actually let me feeling frightened that they might make a sequel.
It's just stupid.
The only two good things that came out of AVPR was a glimps of the Predator homeworld and the best death of an annoying love interest I've ever seen.
Aside from that, I had no fun at all with this pizza krapp.

That's pretty disgusting and pretty much confirms my hatred for Fox right now. I mean, come on! They could of had BOTH Riddley and Cameron working on the same F-ing movie (Alien 5), that's like a movie match made in heaven, it doesn't get any better than that unless Lucas and Spielberg get in the same bed again.
