Is it just me, or do any else of you think that there are almost no good movies hitting theaters this year? Looking over the list, I'm only pumped for like 3 movies, and those ones are: Kick-Ass , Nightmare on Elm Street , and Iron man 2. Granted that The Last Airbender and the new Narnia movie seem like they might be decent, virtually no upcoming movie even looks interesting. EDIT: Clash of the Titans seems pretty exciting. Whats your list?

Maybe no movies, but--
DAAANG. There are LOADS of good games coming out this year. I mean, loads...2010 is going to be great for gamers. At this point...movies not so much. Definitely looking forward to the Last Airbender and the new Narnia movie. Iron Man 2. I 'd have to look up more though because I hadn't given it much thought.
What about...
Hopefully the list below isn't all titles that you considered and promptly crossed off your list. I tried to list a mix of genres, but based on your "good" list, you seem to have very specific tastes, so I don't know if you'll go for any of these. ;) In no particular order:
Personally? I think I'll see a number on this list (and some foreign films coming up that I didn't bother to list), but I can't say I'm jumping up and down to see any of them. I'm most looking forward to Inception, slated to come out this summer. Oh, and Iron Man 2. ;)

The Book of Eli was an amazing movie! I highly suggest anyone interested in great storyline to see it! Not really looking forward to any other movie though (I don't like the idea of the Mad Hatter being the star of "Alice" in Wonderland).

Agreed re: Eli
Thanks for the rec, Animal. Saw it last night - and really enjoyed the story. We'll have to start a post & write more about it in the Movies section.

The few I listed were the main ones that I would really like to see in theaters, While I might like Shutter Island, I just feel like after 2 great movie years 2008 & 2009 the movies coming out this year just feel like I've seen it all before. Also I've seen all sorts of crazy trailers for movies I thought would be good but the trailers are really dissapointing me, I thought the Green Hornet movie might be good but then I see it has Seth Rogen in it, and i'm already doubting it will be that great. Maybe it is just me.

Not exactly, I've only seen the first three and fell asleep during the second and third one. Don't get me wrong, I like fantasy and adventures but I am by no means a fan of the the Harry Potter series.

I'm with you on that. I've read all of the books, but can't quite seem to take too much interest in the movies (spoiler alerts, maybe?). I think the thing with me is that I really don't like fantasy too much...
