"21 is worth a rental, although the story seems more entertaining to hear than watch. It doesn't help that the film's foreshadowing is about as subtle as a 2-by-4 to the head. I give it 3 out of 5." - Tina

I plan on renting the movie. Reading the review, the plot does seem better than the film.

I saw it in the 'cheap seats' today. Moderately fun, but I'll just add my confirmation - predictable. Don't pay full price, or rent.
Oh, and Laurence Fishburne scares me.

Is there someplace where the full version of reviews are archived after they come off the front page? It would be cool to be able to access them, for situations such as these.

You can read all the old reviews...just click on the current one from the homepage, and then in the left hand column under the movie poster there is something that says "previous reviews" and then 2006, 2007, 2008. They are archived by year and when you click on a year it will list the movies I reviewed that year. Not as many as I would like...but we're hoping to do one review a week, at least from now through the summer.

And yes, Laurence Fishburne scares me too. :)

i hate saying this since it's such a cliche, but the book(s) were better. The movie doesn't really show just how much money they were making and how extravegant the main charachters life had become. I also don't think the movie did that good of a job of showing just how dangerous it became for the card counters, especially when they traveled outside of the US.
