Tina gives it 4 stars, I'd give it 3. I feel like i could have closed my eyes and just listened and I would have had a better movie experience. but that's just me. I wasn't buying the acting. but the music, Oh man! thank God the beatles made such beautiful songs, cause that movie would have stunk without it :P

Mom raised me a Beatles fan, so I was able to pick up a lot of the nice easter eggs hidden throughout, althought I am sure there was tons more.
Personally, I go back and forth from I should own this movie, to why bother? The movie had some really nice moments and even some great remakes, but a lot of stuff just fell flat. A good comparsion would be the Circus De Soli Love which is all Beatles music and came out roughly the same time as the movie. I wonder if the visuals there are all the better and therefore the movie with its high production value is a waste.
I would have liked to see them use the music in a modern period, the 60's visuals area bit over done and without bite.
