Anyone seen it?

I loved it. I hear they're thinking of remaking it. I don't love that.

They have also done sequels. Eeeek!
I've got the special edition DVD in the tin case... but haven't watched it in ages. I'll have to dig it out again when I get home. I remember it being violent and brilliant and slightly disturbing and slightly weird at the end. I can't remember exactly what happens now, so definitely need to recap.
I've been a fan of Beat Takeshi since Violent Cop.
If you like Takeshi, try Brother and Sonatine. He exemplifies the way of the samurai - an age of contemplation and a flash of action. He acts just the same way. Expect a lot of impassive looks and don't blink.
