This forum is not for the top 10 or 20 or 100 movies you've ever seen but its for THE best movie you've seen ever/so far.Inception is my favourite movie! If Christopher Nolan makes a sequel just as good, then Its the best I've seen SO FAR. If not, then best movie EVER!!! Whats yours?

Let me think um... No.Sorry but I just can't pick a single movie... Well yes i can pick a movie as if we call a movie something fun yet deep, then I would say UP, but since i think you mean movie as Motion Picture... I can't. I just can't rate two films like Brazil and Young Frankenstein (two of my other nominees) against each other...Lets say, Up okay? But only because its that one movie that manages to bring all the emotions in the first (less than) 10 minutes that Titanic (tries to) build up over two hours.  Ather lenoro' sharanteh! Up is a great movie. I meant a movie that really appealed to you. Gave you that, 'this is unique' feeling that not alot of movies give you. Dun worry its cool! I couldn't pick a favourite movie till I saw Inception. Inception because it is unlike any other movie I have ever seen. Perfect blend of action, visuals with a story like no other. Inception is the best and Shawshank Redemption is a close second.'I was hiding under your porch because I love you...' Dug.Roses are red,Violets are blue, Optimus Prime is awesome, this poem doesn't rhyme, NOW GIVE ME YOUR FACE!

I actually was holding it since they got into dream level 1 and didn't go to the restroom till the movie ended(Yes that includes the credits since I wanted to see if the top fell). There is barely any movies that would make me do that!Roses are red,Violets are blue, Optimus Prime is awesome, this poem doesn't rhyme, NOW GIVE ME YOUR FACE!

Well I didn't wait for it to be truthful, in my opinion the ending was a happy one either way. I mean point is he gone past the 'I don't look at them, they're just illusions' point, he believed they are his children and unlike us he didn't watch the top, he found happiness. Though this holding the blader thing gave me an idea, I think I'll make a topic for these kinds of memorable movie going experiences!  Ather lenoro' sharanteh! Its a lesson Christopher nolan also taught u-s in the end of the Dark Knight. 'Sometimes the truth isn't good enough, some people deserve more, deserve to have their faith rewarded.' In dark knight, this lesson is shown when Alfred burns Rachel's letter and when the lie is told in the end about the murders harvey/two face did.In inception, this lesson is again put into work when fischer sees the fake idea that his father wanted him to be himself and in the end when cobb finally sees his children and is happier than ever. It doesn't matter whether he's dreamin or not, as long as hes happy. 'Your waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away, You know where you hope the train will take you but you can't know for sure, but it doesn't matter, for we will be together.'_ Mal (Inception)Roses are red,Violets are blue, Optimus Prime is awesome, this poem doesn't rhyme, NOW GIVE ME YOUR FACE!

Quite a coincidence that you would bring it up as I just finished re-watching the dark knight before reading this  :)Basically you're right, the only difference really is that the Dark Knight claims it is good and important to create an illusion that provides happines to people where as in Inception it doesn't 'say' its a good thing if you give into illusions, it just shows it is a way towards happiness.  Ather lenoro' sharanteh! I watched 3 times Inception is mind blowing. I wonder if they came into my dreams and planted the seed.  :P

100% The Dark Knight!!!! I thought it had a good plot, acting, and action.

Probably the best movie ever! I know it's my dad's favorite, and I think I might agree with him. The diolouge was humorous (especially the District 9 guy's lines :D), the plot was engaging, the action was non-stop, and the magic tricks were unheard of!

the greatest movie i have ever seen is AIRPLANE!. no one will ever convice me otherwise. especially the running gags. RIP leslie nielsen. it's just pure genius. if any hishe people read this okease never make an airplane! hishe, ok? you can make refferences to it, but it ends perfectly fine.

Lord of the Rings fellowship of the ring or Star Wars episode V Both have been with a long time i'd stop anything to watch them and not regret it.

my favorite movie is definately clash of the titans.

I am gonna have to go with The Dark Knight with ALOT in a close 2nd (zombieland, taken, and inception shall i go on...) but what did it for me was definitely Heath Ledger. I mean  how many actors do you know of that is so into his acting part that it kills him? thats awesome right there i do not care who you are

I agree with what she said

this is my Best movie... i agreed inception is great, i hv watched that 2 times and i hv got a dvd home for whenever movie night fits. but it reminds me too much on a dark movie called Dark City, no big cast, no incredible effects, created a movie as great as inception.
Synecdoche, New York is depressed and dark, dispite sunshine around the site. it crashed ur mind by the chaotic sense and idea of craziness. it drag u into a rabbit hole purely by the story itself instead of the production.
