Finally saw it last weekend.

Well, Slight SPOILERS anyway
I sorta liked it. A little.
Nice to see how monotheism came into play.
Nice to see Eric Stoltz again... first time I've seen him since Butterfly effect. I kept waiting for him to call his daughter's friend "----face."
And the thing about Adama was too well touted for it to've been the twist ending it was obviously supposed to've been.
But in the end, I don't know... Galactica's mini made me want to watch more. Caprica's didn't.

I was a little caught off gaurd by the show as well, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea. I mainly enjoyed it because it was so different than what we were used to in BSG. I think that's good because I don't want them to compete, i want them to stand alone together. The style is really interesting in my opinion. sci fi film noir-ish.
It is an odd story though, I think mainly they wanted to show how would the cylons begin to think for themselves and not have it be exactly like the terminator franchise. I hope they get to continue. What would it hurt really? it leads up to the "original" series correct?
