It's almost time to go to San Diego and I'm dying to get out of town! Once the trip is on I'll post here if any crazy happenings and/or interesting sights need to be shared. Be sure to follow on Twitter for more "live" updates, more appropriately callled "stuff I saw now I'm waiting in line again" updates.
Anyway, I'm super excited to take vacation! :)

Day 2'ish
As usual, it's a whirlwind over here. There are tons of people and it's not even the weekend yet. We spent practically the whole day today in Hall H, which was the first time we've actually been inside the big room. It didn't disappoint. We got a jam packed dosage of directors, actors, and movie footage.
Robert Zemeckis talked about his Christmas Carol film with 3D Jim Carrey, which looked pretty exciting.
Tim Burton had a quick trailer of Alice and Wonderland, which looks pretty good so far, and a surprise appearance of Johnny Depp got the crowd to jump to their feet. That was really awesome I thought.
Tron 2 or (Tron Legacy more officially) was super fun for me. Jeff Bridges and other cast members briefly talked about the film and they showed a small scene along with last years sample footage, but I think I was the only person there that was excited about this panel because the rest of the crowd seemed to be waiting for Twilight.
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs or whatever had a segment, to which was exciting when Andy Samberg and Anna Faris came out on stage for like 3 seconds waved and then disappeared.
Other movies got the spotlight for a while, but didn't really impress me.
Then Twilight took the stage and women pierced time and space with their insane screaming at Jacob's Ab Meat. Good lord, it was like quiet quiet quiet, abs "AAAAAAAaaaaAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" times a bazillion. It was kind of cool to see the cast I guess, but I'm not a crazy fan of the movies.
THEN the last one we stayed for took the stage. James Cameron and his team came out and nailed it. Where as other directors came out and were casual and talking about this and that and slightly boring, Cameron's team had a much more exciting attitude and totally won the crowd (the ones that didn't leave directly after twilight that is) Anyway, I loved this panel because I've been really curious about Cameron's new film, Avatar that i've only heard "is about aliens". They showed us footage and then some. 20 minutes actually, in 3D. This movie is going to be so awesome, an epic adventure mixed with live action and CG alien life. It's gonna be huge.
They also announced that there will be an Avatar day where everyone will get to watch 15 minutes free at IMAX theaters on August 15, and believe me, you will want to check it out. It's FREE and it's IMAX!
And that pretty much was the bulk of the day. at least the bigger more exciting parts of the day. Tomorrow I hope to hit the smaller panels, but who knows what will happen.
Right now i need to re-charge. see ya.

Day 3 or 4.. I can't remember
Since the last post I think we've walked all over San Diego. Comics, The Guild, Restaurants, The Beach, it's been a blast!
Del Mar Beach is my favorite place on earth right now :) Maybe it was just the ultimate way to end a day at the Con, but i had never been there before and it was really fun and really relaxing.
Now, it's time to get back to the mayhem.
Comic-Con 2009
WWWWOOOOO!!!!!!
Yay for mayhem! :P

Unless we are talking about two seprate movies. One being Avatar the Last Air Bender, and the other just Avatar. And other proff against my first theorie is that Avatar the Last Air Bender is supposed to be directed by M. Night Shamalon.

get it now?
Comic-Con 2009
shyamalons is just going to be called the last airbender not avatar or avatar the the last airbender
i dont know what cap meant
Comic-Con 2009
oh, ok i should have known that, and Cap is there a new movie called avatar coming out?
Comic-Con 2009
Hey guys!
To clear up the Avatar business. The Last Airbender (Avatar) is being directed by M. Knight. James Cameron wrote a script titled "Avatar" over a decade ago (long before the Last Airbender) and he had it copyrighted, so he has a right to the name. The two movies are COMPLETELY unrelated. It is a little confusing.
Comic Con was amazing. We saw way more people than last year and in a very casual, close up way. Lots of BSG cast, which was awesome. Ran into Wash from Serenity looking for a restaurant. Shared a table with Candyman. And most cool to us, ate lunch at a table next to Felicia Day. Oh, and we waved to Stan Lee when he walked by us two feet away and he smiled and waved back. It was an incredible time. But if your following Daniel's twitter, you already know all of this. :)

I want to hear more about James Callis. Please?
Comic-Con 2009
He's adorable and short and seems a bit serious, but a nice guy. I'll let Daniel tell you about their conversation because I was too chicken to talk to him. Actually I just felt bad not wanting to pay to talk to him or take a picture.
And not that you care about this so much, but while I thought Baltar looked much older in person, Anders looked absolutely...um...perfect. :)
Comic-Con 2009
Well, there wasn't much to say, We were walking through the booths and unsuspectingly stumbled upon their autograph tables. It seemed like they had JUST sat down because there was barely anybody around, and they were all shaking each others hands. Callis was already sitting down and only had one person chatting with him at the time so I hurried over there and took pictures. When his fan walked away I was the only one there so I just said "Hey, I'm a huge fan of the series" He said "Well thank you very much!" in the same British voice you would expect to hear from him. We shook hands and I asked him, "so what's next after this?" His answer had a slight "I don't know yet" tone to it, but he said he hasn't decided if he's going to go back to theater or sticking with film, but when the time to announce was appropriate, he would.
If I was super awesome and slick I would have said "Well i've got tons of voice work you could provide for us, and then signed him for a Galactica HISHE right then and there. But instead I was too star struck by the fact that I was talking directly to one of my favorite shows EVER that I couldn't think of anything interesting to say.
After that noticed there were actual paying autograph fans behind me, so instead I said thanks for all the hard work and walked away.
