Ohh halo 3 by far. Gears was really upseting when it came to multiplayer.

How do you figure? Please tell me how. The gameplay in halo 3 is gayer and its not as compative unlike halo 2 was. MLG is going to suck for halo 3 and they might as well keep halo 2 in there cause it was a better game. And right now gears is a alot funner game. U cant blow off somones head in Halo 3 can you, NO! Its just a better multiplayer game now.

true what about halo 3's new vehicles i mean they leave alot more ways to kill ppl in halo 3. Look at the Gravity hammer. 2 smacks and they fly farther than a ball hit Babe Ruth

Its actually 1 maybe. But the vechicles are ok but it dosnt matter MLG is everything for halo and it would be nothing without it. Ya maybe some people play it for fun and all but gears right now is just a better and more compative game. Gears and Rainbow six are going to take over mlg now.

Rainbow 6 i agree has taken over Mlg. and it will be there a while cuz just like Ghost Recon it is very realistic, so its very challenging

I got in on this post late. Did the Metallica guy leave yet. Cuz if he's going to be a b@st@rd he should just go make his own site and argue with himself. Never before have I seen anyone get so mad about someone else's opinion on this site. Geez, it's only an opinion after all. My vote goes to Halo 3 btw. I haven't played it yet but I have played Gears and it could get tiring after a while. Plus Halo 3 has the monitor mod that allows one player to spawn vehicles and rearrange the scenery in whatever way that person wants. That is one of the most innovative things I have seen in gaming yet. Oh and I'm not disrespecting Gears, great game, great look, great fun, but Halo takes it.

Techincaly there wouldnt be a Gears of War unless Halo was created first. Halo is what got xbox going. Halo was pretty much the reason why Xbox is so popular.

I do like the song (it's part of my schizoid iPod selection) and I've always loved the juxtaposition of soft or classical music and scenes of utter carnage - Mozart's "Requiem Mass" and one of the season endings of Smallville (3 or 4, I think) as an example.

And.... I dunno, call me a snob, but awards for commercials? Rewarding people for obnoxiously trying to get you to BUY STUFF? I always thought Cannes would be snotty enough to side with me, and it pains me deeply to find out otherwise.
