Oh that returns memories. When i first read Harry Potter... Okay when i first read a Harry Potter book AFTER reading LOTR all i could think of is what would it be like if Gandalf was a step-in-teacher?(Warning if you didn't read into the freshly published novels that gone againsts the wishes of Master Tolkien or looked up a few things in the lotrwiki then you won't get some parts... Mainly the Maiar thing.)School kids at their desks discussing the days news when suddenly Gandalf (the white) appears in the door with a pipe sticking out of his mouth, all previously un-lit canddles light themselves and a kid's wand lifts of to knock on the window, asking for silence. Gandalf stands behind the teacher's table and looks around. After examining the children from under his hat he lifts his right hand, opening a window on the far end of the room, then takes out the pipe of his mouth and releashes smoke from his mouth that flies out the window in the shape of a snake and the window closes behind it.- So tell me. - He starts finally. - Are you infact my pupils?- Yes. - Replies someone.- Mph. - Gandalf coughs with a dissapointed expession. - And tell me where did you left off? Show me what you know. - The kids raise their wands and all cast Lumos. (making their wands sparkle) Gandalf raises a hand besides himself thunder sounds then his white staff appears in his hands and fills the whole room with blinding light.- Can you teach us that Mr. Gandalf? - asks one of the kids (possibly Hermione)- Are you one of the Maiar?- The what?- Exactly! Unlike me you little spark conjurers am a Maia. 6 thausand years ago I've been fighting aginst creatures you couldn't comprehend if it would stand in front of you. I walked what lies beyond the grave, i battled the Witch King of Argmar! I fought along Aragorn, father of human kings in the legendary battle of the Black Gate! And where am i now? Where? Teaching some kids how to play with wooden swords, but no! That would be expecting too much from these little sticks you swing around. I knew magicans who'm even the mountains obeyed! Its a disgrace I tell you! - Kids all look shocked and the asker sunks under his desk in depression. Gandalf coughs again then all books on the desks open themselves up. - Start reading the instructions on Tuberolusio and where you think you're ready, come up here and show what you got. - Gandalf rests his head in his palm. And puts the pipe back in his mouth. Looking at the class as bored as one can get.The End.After Credits:Gandalf still looking bored says to himself. - Why the hell did we kill Sauron and save the human race again?
