Yes, I think I will, sadly I could make this way better than I probably will since i'm so focused on my other series right now, but oh well I'm willing to participate no matter how bad my finished version looks.

i like money. $1000 would be cool. If only i had talent.... i don't know... tempting... wolverine was pretty bad. i might have to give it a go more for the fun of the idea than anything else. I can only imagine it'll give me a whole new respect for what goes on around here.-CitizenBuck

I actually don't think I will have time to participate in this, due to all the other series I've been working on, but why are these on the list of things that won't be accepted?

  • contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, voices, or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead, without permission
  • contains look-alikes of celebrities or other public or private figures, living or dead

    • I mean, isn't that the whole point of the parody? How can you make a different ending without having those?

    I think they mean the actual people, not the characters they are playing.  Like don't go defame real people, stick to the characters in the movie that you are spoofing.  But I'm not 100% sure, so I'll try to get more clarification.

    I talked to Starz, and basically they are trying to avoid you using any actual movie footage or real pictures of the celebrities/characters.  They are actually going to amend this wording in the official rules to make it a little clearer.  So artwork, you dressing up like them, etc, is all totally a GO.  Hope that helps!

     Just to Clarify on that "hmmmm".I made an entry.. Almost uploaded it.. and then decided that it wasn't really in the spirit of the contest.  It felt like I took an easy way out and it would have been an inuslt to the people who did a lot of hard work on their entries to even submit.There are some very funny submissions (although I will confess I haven't watched them all yet.)  NickelCrew.net
