Another week down... Time moves too quickly. I wont have a new comic for a few days. I spent this last week working on the next short, which was very successful. Not to build it up, but I think it looks fantastic. Ha! I'm sure that makes all the people waiting for the next release real happy. "Hey it looks great, that's wonderful, just release it already!" The answer is, all in due time. It's not finished yet, and too many things are in motion right now to even talk about specific release dates. But at least you can be happy knowing lots of work is going into current progress. Other News: I got some practice painting in this weekend as well. I don't know if this is final or not, but I like the way it turned out so far. [img]http://th08... that's all I've got to report for now. Watchmen will be out soon, which we will be sure to give our report on when it's here. I am very excited to see the movie myself.

HISHE News
It's been forever and a day since I've posted an update on the main page, so I wanted to catch you up to speed.
Production still continues on Terminator HISHE, but the artwork is getting close to being all completed. Since it has been a while since I've posted any progress, or comics or anything of that sort, I'm going to put up this last teaser image of some Terminator artwork.
It's a quick shot for the final edit and wont spoil anything except what Arnold sort of looks like. So please enjoy.
That's it for now. I'm crunching away every evening at artwork.
I'll report back when there is more news to share.
HISHE News
Epic, I love the terminator's expression.
HISHE News
WOW that whats in the box video was awesomebut they need to cmake a conclusion
HISHE News
Daniel, will you be adding stuff from T4 or is it totally old school?
HISHE News
is there a conclusion to whats in the box?
HISHE News
It will have both, but mostly old school.
HISHE News
as to your question on how skynet knew kyle was a threat even before he was sent back. They knew because the information was found by the terminators they sent back, and that information was retained by the terminator's memory chips etc... effectively making future actions become past events that would be easily researched by the king of machines Skynet.
HISHE News
was this explained in any of the movies? or is this a Deathstar can only fire every 24 hours loop hole?
HISHE News
Well, it's not like it was ever hidden in the movie. John Connor told a lot of people that Kyle was his Dad. It would have been pretty easy to get ahold of that information. Plus, what if they had some way to analyze DNA? They could put two and two together pretty easily. Skynet pretty much has access to all information that's in digital form, so anything written, spoken over the phone, or in cyberspace will know. Another possiblility is that those memory chips did somehow survive and could broadcast their code to skynet. Just and idea.

it was revealed in book s that most of the information Skynet had on humans was obtained by the very terminators it sent back in time. They had clone projects of Cyberdyne going which led to Skynet. So gilinator pretty much had it right, they simply reviewed the files and had the information.
Also the death star can fire more than once every 24 hours, anyone who has read the book of that title knows that.
HISHE News
as to the the death star can only fire every 24 hours or so, i may have started that by accident. I never read the death star book.
But on the topic of the terminator hishe episode then well i am taken! it looks like it will be awsome according to this post:

HISHE News
There was a link on the HISHE News before the most recent update. It was for a page that was advertising a movie or game... set in the future. It's a POV shot where A huy wakes up in a lab and sees a rip in the sky. he wanders the city and is chased by a hasmat team.
Looked fun.
Anyone got that link?

there you go buck. Sorry I have been slacking on my news posts in the forum.
HISHE News
Daniel, release date for the Terminator short?
Or did you already release it and it went into the past to save HISHE so that the site would become super popular in the future.
HISHE News
I'm at around 50 compositions now in this flipping thing, "i need a vacation"
I've animated almost the entire piece, but there is still much work left with music, lip sync and final edit that still remains.
there are too many things in play at the moment to give an official release date.
I know everyone has been waiting, which doesn't help my stress level by the way :) Please know I am working late hours trying to get this short (and the next batch to come) off the ground.
HISHE News
you need to find some people to help you out with the animating part.
HISHE News
Dude get the guys from cartoons (like pro ones) to help u out! Hell soon enough u might be making anime!

Daniel... others are giving you advice, so here's mine:
Go outside. Wiggle your toes in the grass. Take a deep breath. Enjoy the warm, humid air. Listen to the crickets. Watch Kiddo's tail zip back and forth in the dim light. Can you see any stars? Cloud lightning? Now go back inside... and go to bed, because life is too short, and we can we can easily handle a few more days of the waiting on the end result if it means you can get some sleep now. ;)
HISHE News
I like both Ness and Jake's options.
if and when the day I can hire outside animators happens, HISHE will be an awesome production force :)
HISHE News
cool, just remember this one thing. Dont hire me, and go relax for a day or two, it is summer now, and play with kiddo! im sure he is dying for attention! Dude u work to much. Whoops i gave u three things didnt i... well i hope its good advice! The weather stinks here on long island! Its raining like hell. Enjoy the sun and shine while it still lasts!

"...we all here are trying our best to make Tina and John's moving away a celebration and not a heartbreaking experience."
Beg Pardon?
HISHE News
yep. It's a personal story, but I shared it anyways. Tina would have told you guys, but they are super overwhelmed right now. They are leaving Texas for a year. John is expanding his Medical career, and has to leave the state to do it. We've known this day was coming, but didn't' really make it public. Mostly because HISHE will still operate as it always has, the only difference is our biggest fan is going to have to travel to visit us personally. Which actually is Tina's favorite thing in life, so the travel part is kind of a weird bonus for her.
But, they do need your support, because as much as all of us here don't want them to leave, they are still the ones having to go out there and face the new life.
Please wish them well, and give them lots of reasons to come back too. :)
HISHE News
Good Luck Red Death... you too Mr Red Death.
One year huh? that's not too bad... barely even enough time to unpack.
Again, best of luck. I hope you're moving to some super cool place.
HISHE News
Good luck! Tell them to come back in one pice for me!
BTW one reson for them to stay is without them u wont have inspiration for ur comics! (they are two of the funniest guys/girls)

I'm glad you did tell us, Cap. (Somehow, I have a weird feeling I already knew about this... I actually thought the move might have already happened a while ago.) Anyway, when is D-Day? I'll certainly be thinking of "all y'all" - it's hard to leave, and it's hard to be left - and say goodbye to people you love.
I offer many reasons to come back as embedded in this song (proposed theme song for the next year?). I have no doubt you've already talked about it in the context of the move, and I know we did here)... and again, I have a weird feeling that there are more than one level of synchronicity in this song...
I'm glad Red will still be involved with HISHE and on the Forum.
Thinking of you guys...

Cap, you know how to get a Watson all cranked up. I can't wait to find out what the big news/surprise/next steps are!
Don't worry - per your instructions, I'm fully supportive, happy and coming along for the ride! ;) Looking forward to what's next. Let us all know how we can support further.
HISHE News
Hello Everyone!
Well, I have consistent internet now, so hopefully I can post more. I'll still be managing HISHE all the same...just from a distance. :) And we'll be busy, busy...which you'll all soon find out about. ;)
Jake, the link you posted creeped me out a little. I think my quote was "if I ever move out of state, it will be my theme song." How weird that I moved to...OHIO. Bizarre. Anyway, I'm in Cincinnati now, still unpacking, but trying to get settled. It's sad and hard right now, but you're right Citizenbuck, it will be a fast year.
Thanks for the support guys!

I spent a year in Cincinati one weekend a few years ago (I've been waiting to use that one). It was strange... i can't believe how many used record stores they managed to fit in one city.
Cool place really.
Yeah it is a bit odd to think of you not there with everyone else though.
Jack doing okay with everything?
HISHE News
Im glad you guys made it there in one piece! I hope there were no up chucks on the car ride in (it was a car ride right?)! And like you said! The year will fly by! Soon you will be back in texas, only the HISHE crew standing between texas getting kicked out of the states (curosy of george bush) and texas staying with us! Believe me, i dont want to lose the phrase "remember the alamo!
