it is an elite. and this is the second time I am having to send it in.

With my xbox being out of commission, I've been sitting infront of my computer way more than usual. I've been animating up a storm, and drinking way too many dr.peppers. (forrest gump, I gotta gow paee)

Anyways, I bought a new chair for my desk today because the one i had was giving me back problems and junk. Well I went to a few stores and settled on Office Depot because I am a point and shoot shopper. I hate delaying a purchase and they had a pretty cool chair. so I said I want that one.

The reason I am sharing this story is because of the guy who brought me my chair from the back room. I was talking to another sales person entirely and they radioed someone to come bring up the box. So this guy comes slowly walking up 10 minutes later with my chair on a dolly who looks like "House" with a longer face and he says to me "Allrighty, we've almost got you ready to go, there are just a few more things you'll need for this chair in order to make it a perfect picnic..." he then tried to talk me into buying a floor matte and extended warranty which I didn't need either, nor was I really listening, because all I could think about was why is the guy from the back suddenly doing the sales pitch and why in the world did he compare my chair to a picnic?

No thanks, i just want the chair

Are you sure? it's just an extra 30 bucks and you get a brand new chair 2 years from now.

I'm here to buy a chair. and that's it.

OK, well let me talk to you about one more thing.... he reaches to his pocket and I already know hes gonna offer some kind of "rewards" BS where if you spend over 300 bucks the store will give you 5 dollars credit. The same crap that stores offer everywhere and I already know I don't want it. but he continues explaining...

LOL, im laghuing on my end! srry i wasnt on last night, had to stay over my cosins house becuase my parents took an escape to the city!

This crazy storm came through our town last Wednesday, and took out my electricity. It was the longest night of no power and constant lightning i've ever seen, which was fascinating at first, but about 2AM I had enough. then 5am, then 6, then the sun came up and it was still down pouring on into the day I've never actually been woken up from lightening for an entire night before. I don't know what's more frustrating, knowing your electricity is out, or being woken out of sleep from insane thunder claps every 15 minutes. I got both!

At first it was my whole block that was out of power, but since then I can tell i'm one of the last few houses left on the street that doesn't have it fixed yet. (which will make you real grouchy when you know everyone else on your street has power but you) It is wearing me down to no end. It's hot, all the food in the fridge is done for, I can't use anything in the house, basically all i have is a flashlight.

I've called the company to report the outage several times, but it's still out. Two days may sound like nothing to most people, and I can understand that, however, I've got stuff to do! and I need the power on yesterday! :)

If they don't have it fixed by the weekend I'm going to be so defeated.

I had something similar to this happen, but in winter. So a) there was no exciting lightning, just a wicked windstorm (oh - other than the blue sparking of a damaged power line outside my bedroom window!); b) for some reason our block - just our side of the street - was without power for five days (see aforementioned power line); c) it was cold, so we really relied on the one fireplace (thankfully there was still hot water); d) after about three days almost everyone gave up and stayed with friends (I was sharing a house with a bunch of people at the time). I stayed. So it was dismal - especially, as you mention, looking across the street and seeing the cheery lights. I remember writing stuff for school by candlelight, trying to keep warm next to the fire in the empty house - felt like a monk!

It seems wave 2 has hit my house with electrical problems. Yesterday my AC blew out leaving my house to bake in the 100 degree weather leaving me grouchy and stressed out... fun.

So, it's getting to be Halloween time yea? I normally try to make my own costumes every year, but this time I went with the online purchased Space Ghost costume. So I've been working out all the kinks in this cheap design they shipped me.

Why do costume companies make such crap??? I mean, I know why, they just want you to toss it and buy something else next time, but I mean, why do they have to make everything out of material that will rip at the slightest movement? yeah, one draw string at the neck, we think that's how space ghost would wear his entire clothing. WHAaaa?

I'm gonna be at this party and i just know my whole suit is gonna tear in half or just fall off or something against my will, because its made of tissue paper fabric. yikes. or even worse, some awesome hot girl that didn't actually dress up as "slutty version" of whatever her costume is gonna walk up to me and go, "what are you some kind of earless batman?" and I'll have to explain to her no it's a show that is flippin awesome and you probably never heard of it because you and I don't have a single thing in common. @*&$%^! happens to me EVERY YEAR!

I don't buy Halloween costumes at stores. Actually, I don't wear Halloween costumes. ...I don't actually celebrate Halloween. There's just no one in my neighborhood who really goes wild over it so I just kinda stay home and hand out candy. ...Well, the candy that's left when the kids come. :(

It's been raining so much lately here that there is a large pond in my backyard now! I wouldn't mind, except kiddo is part fish so if there is standing water that is above freezing level somewhere, he's gonna play in it. I let him outside today and it was like he got a new toy. He walked out into the water, took a few drinks of it, and then began to do his figure 8 full blast run splashing and sprinting through the water. It was adorable, but then i realized i'm gonna have to clean him up after this. I guess I should let him have his fun.

As for under my Halloween costume, I'll make sure I don't get arrested if the costume fails on me :)

My birthday is on halloween - that's right, the big 15, halway to thirty... kinda depressing :/ - so I usually have a dressup party, but not this year. Australians aren't as into halloween but every year there are more and more kids dressing up so I think its catching on.
It might be better if you took up sewing and made your own costume, then you can't blame anyone but yourself. Haha, hope you remember to wear underpants incase it tears. :P
