I often feel like the world hates Michael Bay (not that he hasn't given them good reason too).  However, because of this, I feel as though some of his decent movies have been lost in the background.  Take "The Island" for example.  Not a bad movie really.  The cast has some pretty good actors in it (i.e. Sean Bean, Ewan McGregor, and even Scarlett Johansson puts in a decent performance).  Not to mention that it has one of the most realistic futuristic settings I've ever seen in a movie (the shiny new technology next to old buildings and skyscrapers; cars and flying cars).  I mean... I realize Michael Bay is over the top but he does get it right every now and then.Thoughts?
