LittleBigPlanet! Woo!
Has anyone here played it? It's a really awesome game for PS3 if you have it.
Something tells me excluding me...we have another player.

Great game. Some problems with the platforming because of the "plain" system, and playing online with others can be a pain. But other than that it's a terrific and charming platformer. I've played over 150 community levels and at least 100 of them truly impressed me, and many absolutely blew my mind.

(My PSN ID is Coleslaw893, I accept friend invites. Heart me and my levels and I'll heart you and your levels back, just leave me a message  )

I really enjoyed it. I like the cuteness and the tricky-ness and the sheer old-school-ness of it. Does Stephen Fry do the American voice over too?

Can't say I've had much luck online with it and so far I've only played one community level. However, I picked up a second controller over Christmas and mastered the two simultaneous Sackboy technique to complete most of the x2 sections!

I stopped playing it for a while, then played like crazy on my parents tiny tv over Christmas. Once I got home, I stopped again, but not before completing it - that big hamster wheel at the end was evil!

In the unlikely event I am ever awake at the same time as any of you, I am Jamesbloke. Yep, if it ain't broke....

Yes he does. Sadly many American players had no idea who Stephen Fry was and referred to him as "the British narrator guy".

Ha Ha! How Hugh Laurie must be laughing now.

In that case, the music at the beginning when you are running past the credits is probably the same - "Leftbank 2". It was taken from Tony Hart's art shows Take Hart and Hart Beat during the gallery section. Every Briton over 25 knows the music.

I love the game, it's extremely addicting. During Christmas break my dad and I spent hours playing everyday.

I've played tons of the community levels, and made a few myself, so far rubbish.

My PSN ID is Bliss007

..and in "The Wilderness" those levels are so frakkin hard!!!
So I had to have my little brother help me beat them.

...and what costumes do you guys have?
Currently I'm wearing the Devil costume.

Yep, same music. The music track collection is quite wonderful, every song used in the story levels were used perfectly. Thankfully the community has a good sense of how to use the music as well.

Oh I know, I had to replay each of those levels multiple times.

I'm currently wearing the Snake costume from the Metal Gear Solid pack.

can you get it for ps2? thats our only console because we got it for free

and um what the heck is it about

Unfortunatley No. PS3 exclusive only.
However the game takes you around the globe and you do various missions for story characters. Some of the most fun is the sackboy/sackgirl/sacktransvestite? that you can customize, useing objects you got along the way.

I'd go ahead and give it the 5 smile rating
:) :) :) :) :)

I'm thinkin that this will be my next game. That should keep me going until Red Faction: Guerilla comes out :)

Same here! untill november when I got the ps3 I would still play the original red faction.

You should get LBP though because if you, me, and coleslaw, join a group at the same time and complete a level we can win a trophy.

Sounds like a plan. I should be able to get it on Wednesday.

I've been trying to get that trophy for a while, just never have enough people on my friends list playing LBP at the same time.

Now see... I knew Fry as a sketch comic before I found about how he was a narrator... but... thank Hugh Laurie for me even knowing who Stephen Fry is at all... and V for Vendetta... :D

I got it yesterday, so we can play now :) . It's pretty freakin awesome.

We need to work out a time to play.

Replied to your message^^

We need one more player than us three though to get the trophy.

Bliss's picture

Well, thats not so good...but it will still be fun to play as a group.

I have another friend who has LBP he might could play, if there isn't anyone else from the forum who doesn't want too

I noticed we were haveing some connection problems, I'm not sure whos system it was, or maybe it was just the PS3 connection wasn't registering so well.

I dunno, maybe. :? Mine seemed to work ok after it messed up.
