now i know im going to light some anger fires here but LOTR return of the king ending was ridiculously long.

That movie had the sadest ending possible for a movie, transformers 2 was also sort of stupid.

3:10 to yuma i thought that ending just fit. It was sad but in a good way.

It wasn't so much that the ending went on so long, but that they had so many endings. It was like they filmed a load of alternate endings, but instead of saving three of them for the DVD, they put them all in!

Well... Star Wars when they all get medals is right up there.
The ending of Batman Forever was also good. It meant I could stop watching that dross.

More seriously, Way of the Gun had a great ending, it also had a great start.

Least favorite show ending, Fruits Basket. Great anime, for some reason they didnt want to do a second seson even though the just left every one on a clif hanger! You can watch on You Tube, just type in Fruits Basket Episode 1 part one. (they come in three parts).

Favorite movie ending... Dont really have one.

Watchmen didnt end great (just saw it last night). Cant deal With Rorscharch dieing. That just ruined the whole movie right there.

Another ending (I was reminded of thanks to Buck) that I was disgusted with was The Wizard of Oz.

Your telling me that the "Good Witch" couldn't travel with Dorothy (I mean the Wicked Witch of the West was obviously scared of her)
And what's up with the Wizard? I've never seen any character (good or evil) take advantage of someones naiveness. (I'm not going to give you a heart but this clock ticks so I guess it's good enough/ I'm not going to give you a brain, but I'll give you a paper that's obviously my high school diploma/ Ummm... you've had courage all along???)

Then the "Good Witch wants to tell her after all that "Oh all you have to do is click your heels 3 times and wish to be home which would have saved you 2 hours of crap and your family will be as happy as possible and no one will be bitter afterwards"

I just might have to make a "How It Should Have Ended" post about this...

That by no means ruined the movie, and that was crucial to the whole point of the character, sure it's dissapointng, but it's also what makes it such an amazing novel/movie.
