So, I just saw this movie and was a little less than impressed with it storyline direction, and especially its ending......  The story line with the Professor was lame at best. And how I feel it should have gone.....Professor: Yes Mister (cant remember his name), I have been looking at the photos you sent me. I am rather intrigued and would like to come out and take a personal look at the mound.Father: Please come on out.(scene change)Professor: This is great! (walking around the mound) I have never seen one this big and in such good shape, its like none of the other burial sites I have excavated. (collecting samples) *puzzled look* I notice that this vegetation only seems to grow on this mound and I do not see it anywhere else....odd.Have you found any artifacts around here?Father: Well my daughter had this wierd looking straw doll that she denies finding. But I found it in her hands.Professor: Do you still have it and may I see it?(Father retrieves it from the kitchen drawer, hands to Professor who looks in aww)Professor: We have take enough of your time and I have some samples. If its ok, Ill plan to return and excavate it with my team. Until then, Ill check these samples and this odd doll.(scene change - further into the movie)Professor: Mr. (I still cannot remember his name), this is Professor Evans. I have to ask you, has there been any odd events surround the house? Is your daughter acting different? - Fill in the father about the History of the Mound, the trading of the gifts, the lack of a female to reproduce, the vegetation on the mount is found only on other mounds hundreds of miles apart and the disappearance of people within the proximity of them.Professor: You need to get your family out of there NOW! Your in grave danger. Ive already called the police to get you out of there, but until they arrive, stay inside.(scene change)Daughter is acting really wired. Has built the mound in the living room. House comes under attack by the Mound people. The daughter gets taken. The dad goes to the rescue. Keep the dad/son story line in this part the same.Ending stays about the same, with police and fire/rescue rolling up on the after math.(scene change- Bookstore book signing)Lady in line: This book had me rivetted and scared to turn out the lights. The story seemed so real and yet so unbelievable. Can you sign it to Margaret with love?Guy in Line: Your father was an excellent writer, you definitely captured his ability and took it a step further. I notice you dedicated this book to your father and sister, May I ask whatever happened to them?
