Have you seen what they've done to Optimus Prime? This is a sacrilege or something. There is a new line of transformer toys called "Alternators." The storyline is something like there was a big battle (imagine that) or something and a bunch of transformers were mangled beyond repair. So human car manufacturers created new bodies for these transformers that looked like actual cars (remember on the show when transformers did this naturally, instead of in recent years when they looked more like Playskool versions of real cars?). Anyway, some of these are pretty cool. I actually bought Rollbar, who is now a jeep wrangler. Anyway, Optimus Prime has been put into the body of a Dodge Ram SRT-10! Might as well have made him a Chevy Astrovan. Prime has to be large! Not just neck-truck large, but 18 wheeler large! They very loosley resemble the classic transformers. Megatron is some kind of nerf or supersoaker looking gun. Judge for yourself.

One last thing, did anyone realize that they have [url=http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=browse&product_id=17376]Star Wars Transformers?[/url] I just realized that the vehicle transforms into whoever usually pilots it. The link is Han Solo & Chewbacca/Millenium Falcon. I don't know what to think about that.
