Hey so what do you think I have to go Batman. Spiderman would be standing around when he hears a noise and suddenly he would get acquainted with the Batmobile then Batman would say "darn I hit another bug."

lol  thats the best answer ever xD

btw batman wins, he totally kicks the bug ass

Batman would have some bug spray or some sort of gadget that turns into a giant flyswatter on his utility belt. Why? Because he's Batman. :D

Movie Spider-Man would definitely get owned, but comic Spider-Man would beat the snot out of Batman. Batman has a bunch of fancy gadgets and he's pretty smart. Spider-Man is a genius, has super-strength, Spider Sense, web-shooters, and is extremely tough. He could take a batarang to the face without blinking. Batman would get annihilated by Doc Ock.

P.S. I'm talking about Spider-Man comics before 1970, when he went all weird and everybody died.

Ok well the way I see it, spiderman would rough up batman a little bit and batman flees. Later batman comes back and is actually a challenge.

Then joker kills both of em'

citizenbuck's picture

the only way anyone's ever taken batman down is by surprising him (which is why the unpredictable Joker always gives him such a hard time). If Spidey can sneak up on him and pull some trick he's never seen before... maybe.

Otherwise Batman wins.

Batman will get his ass beat plain and simple. Spiderman is tooo tough for humans, bottom line is he holds back on all his punches for fear of killing somebody!! He knocks out people in the comics using his index finger, now Batman is no ordinary human and will give him a workout - but at the end the second spiderman wants to end the fight he'll use his speed strength and agility to overwhelm batman!

NOW as what happened in the dc marvel crossover, Batman vs Captain America, I believe it ended in a tie but My money is on Batman in that fight. Captain America was just a normal human until experimented on! No way he knows more fighting skills than Bruce Wayne!!

I wouldn't be so quick to side with Spiderman. Batman fought Darkseid and won. Batman fought the Hulk (without gadgets) and won. In a fight, Bruce Wayne holds back as well. There have been several stories about how easy it would be for him to kill and how much control it takes for him not to cross that line.

It depends on the arena and the backgound of the fight, but I think it could go either way honestly.

Though I think Batman would let Spiderman win if it served a greater good and because of that I'll claim that's exactly what happened if Spiderman ever did give him a beating.

Spiderman would be too busy makeing some joke or something, like Dang, How much gas does that cost you nowadays? Then Batman would probably win...

Speaking of spiderman you should watch this.

Yeah I was really into watching Mr. Bean and I found out about the
Spider plant man thing within Rowan Atkinsons filmography.

I would have to vote for Spiderman -- movie or comic version.

As fast as Batman may be, Spiderman is faster.
As strong as he may be, Spiderman is stronger.

And while Batman is the better trained fighter, Spiderman doesn't have to be near him as his webbing provides a long-range offense.

And Spiderman has a much better chance at dodging any gadgets -- even bullets -- than Batman would have at dodging webbing.

And given that spider web is proportionally stronger than steel, I doubt Batman would be able to break free from being wrapped up in inch-thick or better webbing.

Besides, Spiderman is used to whipping up on gadget-wielding, costumed characters who have superior strength, speed, and durability (read: the countless incarnations of the Goblin). Costumes and gadgets aside, Batman is not superhuman, no matter how hard he trains.

You've put a lot of weight on Spidey's web slingers. You do realize that Batman would disable them almost as soon as the fight began don't you? Spider-man would get one shot with them and that's it. After that he'd find himself with broken gadgets (comic) or a few dislocated joints (movie) wondering what the heck he was going to do next.

Spiderman makes wise cracks and takes his time taunting the enemy. Batman doesn't play. Batman's smarter and sneakier. He's got more experience fighting the bigger kid and is meaner, more efficient and the better trained of the two.

It would be a good fight, but I still think Batman could hold his own.
