Twilight... love it or hate it, you can't deny it deserves to be spoofed. AND it has been, many times. This short was very difficult to come up with a joke that hadn't already been run into the ground a hundred time already. We went through several re-writes trying to come up with alternate endings that also pointed out plot issues and finally settled with with just making Bella a vampire. It is really the only thing keeping the story going. If she'd just turn vamp they could live happily ever after and then Edward wouldn't have to constantly try not to you know... not kill her.Behind the scenes on this short: Tina played the role of Alice, which makes her first HISHE cartoon voice appearance. Since she lives out of state now, she flew into town just to play the part (and have fun on halloween) Stephanie played Bella who did a good job sounding like she was poisoned with vampire venom. and Mark played the role of Jasper, which is oddly appropriate since Mark is considered the pyromaniac out of us and Jasper is part of the reason the building catches on fire :) Bryan basically nailed the piano sound of the Twilight Score, so as always he gets big props.So I hope everyone got a kick out of this one. I'm glad to be done watching Twilight footage, but I still laugh everytime the dentures fly out from old Bella.

Id have to say that this short is probably better than the whole movie. But I never saw the movie so I shouldnt say that. Oh and I didnt really see kiddo in this one....................unless thats supposed to be him on the ab guys belt buckle, but its hard to tell

For some reason out of all of the epicness of the HISHE I go hysterical with the "Check out my bazillion ab muscles" Thats some of the true spirit of HISHE. I never saw the movie and I'm sure I never will, but I could understand the short, but now of course I will never understand the point of NOT letting here become a vampire! WHAT?

Haha. Great vid. I think you couldve done a little bit more, but twilight must be difficult to make a parody on. Yeh, I really wish Bella just turned into a vampire now and saved us three other movies (or four since i think theyre making breaking dawn into two parts??? I dunno). It's funny because I watched Twilight on thursday so I could go to the midnight showing of New Moon with my brother in law... and I must say... I probably laughed at this more than any Hishe in recent memory... So kudos to you Daniel and the Hishe crew... you've created another internet gem... :)

Blades mother was bitten by a vampire right before he was born. He didn't have the sensitivity to sunlight but still had a thirst for blood. She died when she was giving birth but then became a full vampire and was working with Deacon Frost (The badguy)Oh and twilight parody... FANTASTIC! I can't look at a twilight... ANYTHING without remembering that "Bazillion Ab Muscles" thing and laghing to myself. You guys are still my HEROES!

What I liked most
The thing that I liked most about this short is that I could tell the entire plot of the movie even though I didn't actually see it. Thank you guys!!!

Subtitles in Portuguese
That was HILARIOUS. I thought it was so funny I even made a Portuguese subtitle to add to the video on youtube, but of course youtube won't let me add it cause its property of "starz media LLC". So much for making it accessible to all the Brazilian people, who are huge fans of spoofs. Any way this could be corrected?

Absolutely. we are working on releasing our shorts in different languages, so hopefully that could solve most of the issues we get from our international viewers. As for subtitles, that is also on the table, not just for other languages, but for the hearing-impaired mostly. We've gotten several requests to include closed captioning, so it is very much in our interest to help out best we can.

i love the song at the end
The best part for me is the song at the end. At first I didn't really get it until I popped (i.e. illegally downloaded cause i would never pay for it) in my copy of twilight and listened to the music at the end which was basically just random mumbling to music. Also, at some point i'm going to have to make a compilation of all the stuff Edward does and says that make him look like an abusive controlling boyfriend, cause honestly there's a lot.
