as much as I don't really want to see the real Underworld 3, as in when Saleen gives birth to the 1/2 vampire 1/2 vampire lycan mutt baby, I'm kind of sad they went this way with keeping the story alive before going back to Kate Beckinsale duel wielding pistols.
And really because I feel I have nothing to look forward to since we already know what happens to whom from the original movie.
think I'll pass. I want modern day underworld.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
It was pretty clear from #2 that the budget took a cut and the story really wasn't much different from the first. I was actually suprised to see #3, but since the movie is just the backstory we already knew, then its pretty clear that they were able to make this movie by not having a real writer.
I doubt we will see a #4, unless it is straight to DVD, and Kate Beckinsale will not be in it.
