I think that T1000 would win because both have the ability to regan from all wounds so they wouldnt be able to harm each other phsycially, however T1000 doesnt need to rest or eat. Wolverine would die from stravation so technically still T1000's kill. And no they are not fighting in a smelting factory. :P

No way, Wolverine would win. Considering he's fought the HULK and every known badguy in the marvel universe he can hold his own against the best. We forget that wolverine was a special ops agent for the Canadian government, he's fought and defeated omega red who's much more dangerous than the t1000. Wolverine will have a gameplan and put it into effect. Bottom line is the t1000 CANNOT kill wolverine and if you've seen the special edition of t2 at the end of the movie the t1000 was showing glitches to its system!> Wolverine will break it down!

No, wolverine will not starve. He was stuck in the desert and buried alive and survived by eating his own flesh, which then grew back, so he has a infinite supply of food. The T-1000 although not easily damaged, begins to glitch once it begins to take too much. In the movie it takes the form of Sarah in order to fool John. When the real Sarah showed up, John could tell who was who because the terminator began to lose it's form in it's feet. Wolverine because of his healing ability could easily cause this amount of damage in an incredibly short amount of time because he does not have to make sure John stays alive which means he would not run away.
The T-1000 malfunctioning had
The T-1000 malfunctioning had nothing to do with the other damage he took through out the movie it was the liquid nitrogen that messed him up. even the liquid nitrogen did very little to him,we only saw him glitch like 3 or 4 times. after then he still kep taking massive damage,he took a shot to the face by sarahs shotgun blast and regenered,even when arnold blasted him with that grenade he reformed when he hit that hot pool of steel,when he was dying in the moltein steel it still took it awhile to die,he did not stop he kep coming,coming and coming and did not stop until he was completly melted. due to the T-1000's abilities and the massive damage he went through and kep coming back,i'm going with him.
Wolverine can die of suffication,wolverines armor is indestructable,he can only regenerate organs,if the T-1000 shoved his liquid fingers in his nose or in his body,he could damage and kill wolverine.
T-1000 rapes. my hats off to him.

Most definatly wolverine. Let us not forget he cant be harmed by bullets, and he has indistructible claws that would shred through T1000 in seconds. Yes T1000 would most likely reform and turn into the metal that wolverine has and, well now that i think about it, T1000 would win only becuase of his long range attacks. The only thing that can brake wolverines metal is itself, and with the T1000's spear/arm attack combined with wolverines metal would dispatch of wolverine for a short time. It might just be a tie, wolverine did get shot in the head and even though he lost all memory, he lived, so in conclusion, a tie.

He would win in the end simply because the T-1000 has an upper limit to the amount of damage he can take and reform, Wolverine's is much higher, the adamantium had to be ripped from his body through his pores in order for him to be brought close to death, and the T-1000 simply is not capable of causing injury on that scale to Wolverine all at once.

wolverine can die of suffication,T-1000 never got damaged until the liquid nitrogen got poored on him,which did very little,he still kep coming and moving like nothing had happened to him.
Wolverine cant regerate a lung,he can die of suffication so i'm going with THE TERMINATOR here.
