Well it was a long painful week of final touches, but Avatar is finally completed, so expect the release in a few days.   Whew, what a ride!  Not trying to sound braggy or "whoa is me", but I have been working on this one almost constantly all month.  Basically only stopping for food and xbox and sleep.  :)  So I'm a bit whipped and anxious to get it out the door by this point.

The Sigourney Weaver SNL was last Saturday and I almost panicked when they started an Avatar skit.  Fear that they could possibly have the same concept we chose and beat us to the "who did it first" punch.  Luckily it ended up being something completely different, so all is well.   If they had you would have heard an insane darth vader, "NOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!" echoing through the night air, which would have been me. Can I help it if I'm a little competitive in that regard?

So that's the news.  It's movie award season, so HISHE is working accordingly.  Did everyone watch the Golden Globes?  I only watched bits and pieces to be honest.  Basically just listening in the background while i worked on other things.   When those award shows are on all I can focus on is the technical side.  Mic foul ups, incorrect camera cutaways, actors messing up the teleprompter.  That's sort of thing.   It's not as magical as it used to be for me, so sometimes I just like to listen.  I did see the Julia Roberts "NBC you guys are in the toilet" bit though.  That was uncomfortable and exciting :)  Anyway, Avatar came out on top, which makes our new release all the more exciting to me, so yay AVATAR!
