Tina has been making plenty of reviews for us, so we're letting her skip this one. So please forgive me if this review isn't to the Tina caliber.

How to describe this movie.... let's see.... This is a dark comedy about big tobacco’s head spokes man, played by Aaron Eckhart, and the life he leads while trying to be a good father to his son… That’s pretty much it.

I’m having a hard time coming up with something great to say about this movie.  It’s very tricky.  It has some funny parts, but still something about the picture feels pointless.  Oh this is a story about how hard big tobacco has it.  Poor big tobacco.  Oh no, I see, it’s a story about the failures in our government.  Oh now it’s a story about a man just trying to be a good father.  Nope, he’s just teaching his son how to be just as dark and twisted as he is.  In the end it’s just a pretty picture that means nothing, and pokes mean fun at a lot of things along the way.

The cast is packed with a lot of surprising faces, including Sam Elliot who I think is freakin cool!  The production value is excellent!  There is a very distinct style to the film, which is what I think will make the film last. So you're getting your money's worth. But that aside, to me, it’s just another modern day movie I’ll probably never care to watch again.

 SO HOW DOES IT END?

Aaron Eckhart loses his job. then is offered it back.  For some reason he decides it’s better for his son if he turn down the job, so he escapes big tobacco, and ends up taking a job doing the exact same thing as a spokes man for cel phone health studies.  How that’s better for his son is beyond me.  I give it 3 out of five.

tina will be back for next review i promise
